About Us

Thunderbird Hills Golf Club is a gorgeous, 36-hole, public golf facility located in quaint Huron, Ohio. We are less than 45 miles West of Cleveland and less than ten minutes East of Cedar Point. Thunderbird Hills Golf Club offers a challenge and a great value for golfers of all levels. Thunderbird North Opened in 1960 and was designed and built by Richard Palmer and his sons. It is set on naturally rolling terrain with tree lined fairways and small challenging greens. The South course was designed and built by Bruce Palmer, and it opened in 1995. Also featuring rolling terrain, the South course borders the Huron River, which provides some breathtaking views on the front nine. On the South side, you will find bent grass tees and fairways, and larger, more undulating greens.
